This time we want to introduce you to an interesting project. This project is unique in that the customer's setting was to build the scaffolding so that the support feet do not touch the ground. In order to meet the customer's wishes, special engineering calculations were performed to arrive at a safe solution.

​In the autumn of 2019, the KRAG Team participated in the AIR Baltic aircraft restoration and repainting project. AIR Baltic regularly performs full aircraft restoration to provide customers with the highest quality and safety service. The construction of the scaffolding itself did not cause any difficulties or complications. But given the high value of the plane, which is more than 60 million, the assembly of the scaffolding was cumbersome and very responsible, as every small mistake or inaccuracy could cost tens of thousands of EUR.

Shopping Center Alfa is one of the largest shopping centers located in the capital of Latvia, Riga. The total area of the shopping center, including both multi-storey car parks and the new underground car park, will increase by 55,000 m2 to 154,000 m2, while the leasable area will increase by 21,000 m2 to 71,000 m2, thus regaining the title of Latvia's largest shopping center. These two years of construction have been a great challenge not only for the KRAG team, but also for the visitors and tenants of the shopping center.
For the first time in Latvia, the Layher innovation Layher Allround FW cable system was used in Alfa, KRAG has been using this system in the Scandinavian countries for several years. Using this system in this way, an efficient and fast solution for ceiling decoration was found.

KRAG SOLUTIONS AB has a long-term cooperation with TotalProjekt in Sweden. TotalProjekt was engaged in the construction of new residential buildings. These are standard houses and the KRAG Solutions AB team provided all these buildings with scaffolding during construction.

Mežaparks Grand Stage (also the Song Festival Stage) is a cultural and historical building in the green (park) zone of the city of Riga in Mežaparks. Mežaparks Grand Stage is of great cultural and historical significance. Over time, it has become a main venue for more than 150 years of Latvian song festival tradition. There is also a practical reason for this, because the location of the Mežaparks Grand Stage in the context of urban planning is considered to be successful and convenient.

​One of the largest KRAG Finland OY projects, which started in 2019 and continues in 2020. This is an infrastructure facility where scaffolding, roof and stair tower constructions of various complexity are built. The site employs more than 10 KRAG Finland OY installation specialists every day, and the team is led daily by two experienced and educated project managers.

A complex, voluminous and complicated scaffolding and temporary roof solution. The client had set very specific requirements. It was necessary to build another floor of an existing 12-floor building, at the same time the whole structure had to be protected from the effects of climatic conditions. It was necessary for the structure to be able to open one of the roof sections at any time to deliver building blocks and other huge building structures, so the technological solution was chosen that allowed several roof sections to be moved from each other.

At this project we used Layher innovation Layher Allround FW cable system. In summer, the scaffolding was covered with ordinary facade film, in winter - with double film to provide heating of the facade.
