Kouvola, Finland – Data Center ProjectDecember 2025 – Present (project ongoing)
A freestanding temporary shelter was constructed to meet the client’s requirements, using the Layher Keder XL temporary roofing system combined with a rail system to enclose the vertical sections of the scaffolding.
The shelter measures 43 × 22 m, with a height ranging from 4 to 7 metres. Water tanks were used as ballast for the structure.
To improve heat retention during winter conditions, the exterior of the structure was fully covered with roofing tarpaulin, while a 200 g/m² reinforced scaffolding sheet was installed on the inside. The combination of both layers creates a thermos effect, helping to reduce heat loss within the structure.
